In support of the 2015 elections in Myanmar, the Myanmar Independent Living Initiative (MILI) developed a brochure about a project to promote disability access in Myanmar elections. With support from the United Kingdom's Department for International Development, the Australian government's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), MILI is working to support local disability rights organizations, the Union Election Commission and voter education efforts to promote greater involvement by persons with disabilities.
