Article 35 states:

(1) In the case of a person entitled to vote who is ill, disabled or illiterate, the Autorisé or an Adjoint may take such measures as he or she considers appropriate for taking his or her vote on the day the poll is open, provided secrecy in voting is maintained.

(2) Those measures may include a visit to the person for the purpose of delivering a ballot paper to the person, attending whilst the person records his or her vote on it, and bringing the ballot paper back to the polling station and placing it in the ballot box.

 

Article 42, paragraph 11 states:

In the case of a person entitled to vote who is ill, disabled or illiterate, the Judicial  Greffier  shall  take  such  measures  as  he  or  she  considers appropriate  for  taking  the  person’s  pre-poll  vote  before  the  time mentioned in paragraph (1), provided secrecy in voting is maintained.
