Ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
Article 3 states:
Citizens of the Republic of Moldova have the right to elect and be elected regardless of race, nationality, ethnic origin, language, religion, gender, opinion, political affiliation, property or social origin.
Article 38 states:
(2) Except for persons banned from voting by law, all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova having attained the age of 18…have the right to vote.
(3) The right of being elected is granted to all citizens of the Republic of Moldova enjoying the right of voting.
