In 2016, the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), in collaboration with the National Human Rights Council in Morocco and supported by the United States Agency for Intrnational Development (USAID), produced a video in Moroccan Sign Language (MSL) of election-related vocabulary. The lexicon, developed by experts and Deaf communities in the country, provides the opportunity for Deaf citizens to discuss participation in elections.
