Article 2 states:

Suffrage is universal, direct, equal and secret. Under the conditions determined by law, voters are all major Guinean citizens of one and the other sex, enjoying their civil and political rights.

 

Article 22 states:

Every citizen has the duty to participate in elections, to promote tolerance, democratic values....
