In 2019, the Election Commission of Sri Lanka (EC), with support from the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), produced a series of voter education videos in Sri Lankan Sign Language to encourage Deaf voters to register to vote. This video provides information for young people with disabilities about how to obtain their National Identification Cards (NICs) to ensure they are able to exercise their voting rights.
