This radio spot reminds voters with disabilities that nothing impedes them from casting their ballot and guiding their country's future as the Tribunal Supremo Electoral, Guatemala's electoral commission, implemented unprecedented measures to ensure access for all citizens.Consejo Nacional para la Atención de las Personas con Disacapcidad (CONDAI) and the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), helped develop and produce a number of public information videos and radio spots for the 2011 Guatemalan general elections.

Narrator: Are you a person with a disability? Participate and accept your right to vote this November 6th to choose the next President of the Republic. Each polling place will feature braille ballots for the blind, trained personnel to write down [their request], ramps at some polling stations in the capital city for wheelchair users, and team members with disabilities from the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. Voting is our right and a promise with Guatemala. A message from CONADI with support from USAID and IFES.
