Updated: August 2018
Publication cover: REV UP Make the disability vote count

The Anerican Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) published the REV UP Issues Guide for the 2018 United States Elections. The Guide provides a comprehensive, yet concise overview of the issues, legislation, and regulations that have a significant impact on the disability community. The Guide is meant to serve as a tool for voters, advocates, candidates, and the media to be better informed on the issues that matter to people with disabilities.

The Issue Guide is part of the REV UP Campaign, launched by AAPD in 2016. The Campaign is a nonpartisan initiative that coordinates with national, state, and local disability organizations to increase the political power of the disability community while also engaging candidates and the media on disability issues. The Campaign focuses on voter registration, education, access, and engagement. REV UP stands for Register! Educate! Vote! Use your Power!

The Guide, available in English is available to download and more information can be found here: https://www.aapd.com/advocacy/voting/rev-up-issues-guide/
